Do Your OM Thing Yoga

Yoga for the lungs

Together we're going to learn about both the anatomy and energetic profile of the lungs. In Chinese medicine the lungs performance is impacted by grief and sadness.

We'll begin by finding the hidden potential in the back of the lungs and the huge network of calming receptors there. I'll explain how the lungs have branches, like trees. For lungs or trees to flourish, they need space to move and nourishment.

Yoga for the heart

We get straight into it with our first session and understand the anatomy, and how that alone can make us feel a little blocked or restricted. We conclude the session with a Loving Kindness (the Buddhists call it Mettā) Meditation.

It’s beautiful, and scientifically proven! Scientists have shown it helps to elevate the mood and genuinely cultivates feelings of compassion for ourself, and other people.

5x 75 minute sessions for you to keep and practice again and again

Yoga for the core

Welcome to the core, it's time to improve your relationship with this part of your body. To improve and increase tone, we need to let the abdomen expand on an inhale, and naturally draw in on an exhale.

You're going to hear me call this a Buddha and greyhound belly. There's some emotionally healing going on as well; 'sucking the belly in' leaves the abdomen weak. Literally let that stuff go, and the beliefs about how an abdomen should look, and in so doing; looking and feeling STRONG!

Yoga for the thyroid

Welcome to the neck and thyroid! We start off simple; The neck gets tense when we use those muscles for breathing. The butterfly shaped thyroid lives in the neck, and well... it needs space to operate optimally, regulate our yin and yang energy.

Get ready to 'be more frog' and practice a beautiful meditation called the Balloon Breath.
