Presence, not performance 200 hour yoga teacher training 2026
This is a journey for people who want to understand yoga deeply. A space to ask better questions. To move beyond shapes and into meaning. To explore what yoga really is—and perhaps discover a little more about yourself along the way.
Whether you dream of teaching, or simply want to deepen your own practice, this training invites you to experience yoga as it was always intended: not as something you do, but as a way of living.
Because yoga isn't asking you to become someone new.
It's inviting you to remember who you've been all along.
More than learning to teach
There are plenty of trainings that will teach you how to sequence a class. We'll do that too. But we'll also explore why yoga works.
How the nervous system responds to movement.
Why breath changes the way we feel.
How philosophy still speaks to modern life.
How anatomy becomes meaningful when we stop seeing bodies as problems to fix.
How presence can be more powerful than perfection.
Over ten weekends together you'll study asana, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, pranayama, ethics, sequencing and teaching methodology. You'll learn how to adapt yoga for different bodies, different experiences and different stages of life.
Most importantly, you'll learn to trust your own voice.
Because the world doesn't need another teacher trying to teach like someone else.
It needs teachers who understand themselves.
A different kind of assessment
Many of us were taught that learning means getting the right answers. I don't believe that. I know that learning happens when we become curious.
Throughout the course you'll be encouraged to reflect, question, explore and experiment. Assessments aren't there to catch you out; they're opportunities to celebrate how much you've grown.
Every student who has completed this training has passed first time.
Not because it's easy. Because they're supported every step of the way.
My promise to you
I'll help you discover the teacher that's already within you.
I'll challenge you when you need challenging.
Support you when you need supporting.
Celebrate your individuality.
And remind you, again and again, that yoga has never been about fitting into a mould.
When yoga bends to you, you and the practice come alive.
About your trainer (me)
I've been practising yoga since I was five years old, and teaching professionally for over a decade.
I hold a Master's degree in the History and Philosophy of Yoga and have specialised in yoga therapy, working with people living with chronic pain, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety and those on the cancer journey. Alongside yoga, I'm also an Ayurvedic practitioner, allowing me to support people through a truly holistic lens.
I'm endlessly fascinated by the meeting point between ancient wisdom and modern science. My teaching combines academic rigour with warmth, curiosity and compassion, translating complex ideas into practices that feel relevant, accessible and deeply human.
More than anything, I believe yoga should help you come home to yourself.
That's the training I wish I'd taken.
And it's the one I've created for you.
The course runs over ten weekends in Hove, from October 2026 to July 2027.
