What is the

DO YOUR OM THING YOGA

PHILOSOPHY

do your om thing logo_final-03.png

I've been practicing yoga since I was a child. I learned that we're designed to move, and our original movements were playful and felt good. Now, (many) years later, that's how I approach yoga.

I'll create a space for you to remember who you were before conditioning and culture made you hold your body in unnatural, small and ultimately painful ways.

To Do Your OM Thing is to integrate body, breath and mind. It's about authenticity, being yourself.

10 WEEK YOGA AND MEDITATION COURSE
I run open level yoga courses. Each week you'll experience a blend of styles which include Hatha flow, dynamic, restorative, and feldenkrais. Let's not worry what all of these styles mean, just know they combine to create a very well rounded practice.

Having 10 weeks together means movements and postures can flow from week one all the way to the end and you'll experience personal progression.

7.30 -8.45pm GMT Wednesday 24th March - 26th May 2021. Live on zoom, or in your OM time via recordings.

Whichever option you choose; you all get lifetime access to the recordings is £90 for one person, £75 per person when booked with a friend.

PRIVATE YOGA 1:1

Private yoga sessions are for you if you're ready to invest in your Self. I host these warm and welcoming weekly sessions via Zoom or FaceTime.

Choose from 60 minutes £45 or 90 minutes £65.

YOGA OM DEMAND

Mini courses ready when you are!

Each session is 75 minutes long, and there are 4 or 5 in each course. Practice weekly, pause if you need to, or practice daily. For £45 you'll gain lifetime access to one mini course.

HEART MINI COURSE

In this course you learn a little about the anatomy and energetic profile of the heart. The element of the heart is air. The heart space is therefore enlivened by the breath. An exuberant heart takes a full breath, and a closed heart inhibits the breath. Breath is energy. Your heart sets the rhythm and tone for your life. Remember those moments when your heart skipped a beat, wore your heart on your sleeve, or you felt disheartened? These sessions are both informative (you’ll learn some anatomy) and transformative; knowledge is power!

LUNGS MINI COURSE

The lungs have always been kind of a big deal, but now everyone is motivated to nourish and support them. You'll learn some beautiful anatomy, and understand the emotions that can restrict their capacity. You'll learn to listen to your breath, the messages it contains and when you do... oh my goodness you're going to feel better.

These courses are ideal for the shy yogi, the beginner, the 'I'm a bit out of practice' yogi and anyone struggling with fatigue, sleep issues, anxiety or depression.

WEEKLY YOGA AND MEDITATION COURSE
I run open level yoga classes for anyone; complete beginners to yoga teachers. Each week you'll experience a blend of styles which include Hatha flow, dynamic, restorative, and feldenkrais. Let's not worry what all of these styles mean, just know they combine to create a very well rounded practice.

You can drop in, but I recommend purchasing the 10 week course. A regular  practice means movements and postures can flow from week one all the way to the end and you'll experience personal progression.

A single class is £10.

The 10 week course is £90, or £75 per person when you book with a friend.  We practice in person @ Hove Methodist Church, or live via zoom every Wednesday 7.30-8.45pm.

Here's a very special offering to get you started, enjoy!

STOMACH MINI COURSE

Most famous for its lead role in digestion, but as we’ll learn, it does so much more. Digestion is a good place to start though. It might be something we give little thought to, until we feel bloated and uncomfortable, and then that stomach becomes all consuming.

The quest for a flat stomach, sucking the belly in or toning the abs has led to some unhelpful adaptions. These lifelong tension patterns actually weaken the core muscles and interrupts healthy digestive patterns.

The stomach is depleted by worry and anxiety. Worry goes nowhere in the body. It’s an energy, a power surge that ultimately stagnates. It’s rare we get up and do something with those concerns, right? When we do though, we alchemise the stagnant energy into an expression of personal power. The stomach loves that kind of activity!

"I love the thought that Rosie puts into her classes to ensure that you get so much out of them - not just the poses, but the philosophy and thinking behind it. I always leave the mat with lots more than just a good stretch. And her Spring retreat was a total treat."
